My great-grandmother was Minnie Quick of Emerald NE (unincorporated township near Lincoln). Her parents were John Martin Quick and Sarah Eliza Strycker. John's parents were William Quick and Letitia Sinclair. William and John are listed as living in Immanuel in some documents but that town no longer exists and we found them in Emerald. William and his brother Tunis P. Quick came to NE where they formed a business alliance. Tunis and his family are buried in Wyuka cemetary in Lincoln. William & family are buried in Emerald cemetary. I've got more details but not in front of me. Write me at proverb_31@hotmail.com and we'll see if there's a connection. Debra
Morning Grace, I'm also descended from Jesse (I think), and I've got a little stuff. I think the world authority, though, would be Bonnie Freeman [EFPINE@aol.com], who is also descended from Allen. If you need more, let me know.
