My great-grandmother was Minnie Quick of Emerald NE (unincorporated township near Lincoln). Her parents were John Martin Quick and Sarah Eliza Strycker. John's parents were William Quick and Letitia Sinclair. William and John are listed as living in Immanuel in some documents but that town no longer exists and we found them in Emerald. William and his brother Tunis P. Quick came to NE where they formed a business alliance. Tunis and his family are buried in Wyuka cemetary in Lincoln. William & family are buried in Emerald cemetary.
