    2. Bushy Hartman
    3. Greetings all, I wanted to pass along our new web page url: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~godboldcuz/ (now named Godbold but we will be renaming it in the future.) There are digital images of documents, cemetery headstones and several other items and many different surnames. I am researching several names of my direct line: Browder/Godbold/Mixon/Mixson/Rollo/Johnson/Smith and their allied families; Quick, Brown, Spears, Bullard, Baker & Garraway. along with many more. Just keep checking back were actively uploading around 5-8 pm on weekdays. I am hoping we get a good deal more on this weekend depends on my smarter half. I don't have a gedcom up yet it is in the making and will be posted soon. We are still working on uploading the documents and their transcriptions. We have a couple of cemeteries we visited in Marlborough still to post, sadly not in their entirety due to rain the first day we were there. We have more to up upload for Williamsburg, SC that deals with the Browder line. I am in search of someone in the Quick line that will share with me a gedcom or something to show me what lines the different people went to so I can tell who I am looking at. Is there someone who has a web page dealing with the Quick line? My interest in this line is to show me where they originated. I have seen the documents relating that Elisha Roller married Catherine Quick d/o Thomas Quick. I think that Elisha somehow may be related to my William & Milley Rollo who lived on the NE side of the Great Pee Dee at the head of Husband's Creek. He owned a Mill with Abijah Porter late 1700's. If you have ANYTHING to help guide me in this research I am more than happy to hear it. Thanks Bushy

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: quick, stanton Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/TBCBAIB/894 Message Board Post: Hi All: My father was Lester Quick, one of 8 children of John Calhoun Quick who was one of 6 children of Thomas and Jane Stanton Quick. I have located Thomas and Jane in the 1880 census in Laurel Hill, Richmond Co., NC. I've not found anything about them before or after(I have found info on most of the kids). The census says Thomas and Jane were born in SC. Does anyone know if the Thomas Quick aged 9, found in the 1860 census of Marlboro Co. SC, the son of Tristram Quick, is the same Thomas? He had 2 older sisters who married Gibson brothers(twins?) of Richmond Co. NC., so he certainly had ties to the area. The ages given of Thomas in the 1880 and the 1860 census don't quite match but is no further off than other mistakes I've found in the census. And does anyone have any idea where Jane might come from? Thanks in advance for any help Lee Quick

Cecil, I apologize for not giving you the information on Mahala's and Harvey's birth, death and marriage. The dates are firm, as I got them from Emma Louisa Kidwell's (my great-grandmother)family bible. Harvey Jackson Kidwell, b. 12-17-1827, d. 5-27-1861 (Saturday) Mahala Quick, b. 4-18-1830, d. 5-17-1860 (Thursday) Mahala and Harvey married on 4-19-1849 I don't have any information on where they were born or died. If I find anything I will let you know. Also, I have started a web page in the Tribal Pages Free Genealogy Online under the McKee Family Tree. I just started, so you might also check there for any other information you might need. Again, if you have anything you think I might be interested in, please let me know because I, too, have hit a road block with Mahala. Marcia McKee
