    3. I have not listed my Queen kin before because I have not been able to trace my line to any extent. But what I have, I will list. Maybe it will help someone. Joshua A. Queen, b. 1835 - Lincoln County, NC. - my great grandfather Married Malinda Richards - Lincoln County, NC 8-4-1859 Joined the Confederate 8/31/1861 Wounded at Gaines Mill, Va. 6/27/1862 Returned to Duty 3/1/1863 as a teamster Was present and accounted for 12/1/1864 Supposedly killed in Richmond in 1865 Joshua A's Son Joshua Dolphus Pinkney Queen - my grandfather Born 11-16-1864 - Lincoln County, NC never saw his father, (Joshua A.) as he was killed in Civil War Married Julia Elizabeth Jones- born 5/5/1870, Died 2/23/1943 Their children were: Mary Queen Coil born Gaffney S.C. William Joshua born Gaffney S.C. 9/9/1896 James Guy born Gaffney SC 4/15/1902 Grady born Gaffney S.C. 6/6/1903 - Died 11/213/1918 Drayton Irvin born Gaffney SC 4/16/1905 Hoyle Pinkney Born Gaffney SC 1908 Floyd Ansel Born Gaffney SC Lois Pearl Queen Spencer born 10/15/1914 - my mother. That is the extent of the ones that I can prove are my relatives. If anyone can give me some information on what a teamster was in the Civil War, I would appreciate it.
