    3. Rita, I found an entry on Union Co, GA census for an Edmund Henson b. in TN. Could be that he moved over to Hayesville,NC. 466 HENSON Archibald 74 VA Charity 30 NC Agnes 18 NC Edmund 10 TN In 1830, an Archibald HENSON was in Buncombe Co., NC. In 1840, an Archibald Henson, Jr. was in Washington Co., TN. As for "gravel", I believe it refers to a kidney/bladder ailment. Something like "stones".
