Lee et al: This is very curious. My roadblock has been Hence (Henson?) and Nancy York Queen who I have found in 1850 Rabun County Ga, and then Nancy widowed in 1860, 1870 Cherokee County NC. By 1880 I think she and her children had moved to Clay County right next door. I have heard of this Robert Husley Queen before, and was in contact with a fellow researcher from this line some years ago. I'll look through my files and see if I can find those notes. My Hence and Nancy are somehow connected to George Washington Queen who's father was Stephen Queen, I believe. I have wondered if the Stephen Queen and my Hence were brothers. I have also wondered if the Nathaniel S. Queen might possibly have been Stephen, although other searchers have supposed Samuel.. And while we are wondering, where are the descendants of Hence and Nancy York Queen's children. Of the 5 (3 sons, 2 daughters) I have only made connections with one or two from the youngest son, Hinsey Jonas, my ggrandfather. So many mysteries, so few clues! Rita Queen Bartmess
