I found a Mary Ann Queen in Hayesville Township, 1880 Clay County NC census. She was 5 yrs old and lived with Edmond Henson (Hanson?) 68 and wife Lucinda 58. No relationship was given; just that Mary Ann "lives in family." Another interesting question concerning Edmond: in the column referring to illness in the last year, it looks like the word "gravel" is written there. Anyone have any idea what this might be? Just sign me curious in Florida aka Rita Queen Bartmess ;-)
