    3. Hi Group- As promised, another land survey with some interesting information. Burke County, NC Grant # 6361, 22 Sept 1855 By virtue of a warrant No. 16381, entered 27th of January 1855, I have laid off and surveyed for Solomon Queen forty-nine acres of land on the waters of Mountain Creek, joining his own land, beginning on a chesnut his corner and then North 42 degrees East eighty eight poles to a white Oak then South 33 degrees East one hundred poles to a Pine then South (61) degrees West one hundred and sixteen poles to a (unreadable word) white oak on a branch, then to the beginning. Surveyed 20 April 1855. Moses Queen} John R. Sudderth, C.S. Aaron Tallant} C.B. end (Will be calling this Moses Queen - 'the elder' to distinguish him from my Moses Queen, b. 1828, d. 1894 - Union County, GA.) Now, we all remember the James C. Queen, Moses Queen, and Nathan Jenkins who were named admins for Jesse Tallant's estate in Union County, Georgia in the 1870's. Names, names, names. Again, if anyone has any ideas about Moses Queen the elder, or Tobias Queen pair, let us know. Regards, Jerry.
