    3. Looking for an Engineer or outdoorsman or outdoorswoman who is familiar with Magellan, Garmin, etc. handheld GPS units. I wish to purchase the least-expensive, easiest to operate unit which will reveal latitude, longitude and altitude. I simply wish to push a button, if necessary, wherever I'm standing at a particular moment, and read a display of my exact (+- 25-50 meters) location and altitude. I'm looking at a $99 Magellan unit, but the description does not indicate if the unit has ability to report altitude. Bottom line. When I trek into the hill backcountry of N.C. and reach a spot which is important to my family history research, and that point is not listed on a topo map, I wish to be able to accurately place it there. Which is the least expensive GPS unit which will provide me with the data I seek? The location of the Rev. James Henry Queen family cemetery is going to be on my topo map after this next trek up Indian Creek, period. Thanks, Gene
