*Lexington Herald Leader, March 13, 2000 Frank W. Queen, 98, of 1507 Anniston Drive, husband of Irene Owens Queen, died Saturday. March 11, 2000, at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Fannin County, Ga, he was a son of the late Harrison and Mary Ann Patterson Queen. He was a gentleman farmer and retired meat cutter for the old Lafayette Hotel and a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. Besides his wife, survivors include a son, Charles W. Queen, Lexington; two daughters, Nona G. Eisele and Myrtle Kathrine Beard, both of Lexington; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral services will be held at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home by the Re. Mark Benton and the Rev. Ernest Sacra with burial following in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Also, the number of grandchildren and great grandchildren are incorrect as they do not take into account the offspring of Frank's first marrieage to Martha DEAL.
