    1. [QUEEN] Alfred Queen of ca 1834 GA
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Clyde H. Queen, Sr. and all, Came across a Jan '99 post of Clyde's and retrieved my Isaac Queen file again. This sounds too similar to be a mere coincidence: Isaac Q. Queen, Sr. (b. ca 1806-1809 NC) m. 1st Ruth Hunt ....son Alfred B. Queen (b. ca 1833 NC m. 5-26-1861 Union Co, GA. d. Oklahoma City, OK) m. Synthia Rush (b. 9-14-1843 d. 5-5-1905 b. Mobile Baptist Ch Cem, McCaysville, Fannin Co., GA) Report that "Alfred died at the home of his son, Tom, in Oklahoma City Oklahoma, and is buried there". He was "one of several children (some say twelve boys and four girls)." Alfred and Cynthia's six children: ...John Queen ...Emory Queen m. Vinie Walker ...Tom Queen m. Alice Ammons ...Mary Queen m. Tom Talley ...Venna (Vennie Queen m. Frank Davidson ...Albert "Ab" Lee Queen m. 1st Martha Walker Now, from your post, Clyde: 1920 Whitebread Twp, Garvin County , OK census: Queen, Thomas, 43, GA Alice, 41, NC ...Earnest, 19, GA ...Lola, 16, GA ...Carl, 14, GA ...Willis, 11, GA ...Minnie, 5, OK Alfred, 86, dad, NC (= b. ca 1843/44) Clyde E(dward), 21, boarder, GA (Your dad) Clyde....we need to "talk". I have a 20 oz bottle of Mellow Yellow which says that that this Thomas and Alice are your Tom and Alice; that Alfred B. Queen of GA went to your Tom and Alice, where he died; and that Isaac Queen is one ancestor you seek. Can you confirm the place and date of death of Alfred in OK? Gene
