Hi Cousins, I have recently discovered a wonderful resource in the Cincinnati Public Library. They have a whole wing devoted to genealogy. Their collection contains a tremendous amount of info....most notably the microfilm records of virtually every census. I will be visiting this libaray multiple times over the sumer and would be happy to do lookups if requested. The following QUEENs are the only ones in GA that I have found who are definitely related to me. QUEEN, James W b. 2/1855 in Ga. Residing in Mobile, Fannin Co. Ga. (wife) Elizabeth (BEST) 2/1852 in GA (kids) Wesley 5/1878 Robert 1/1882 John H. 6/1885 Mary F. 4/1888 America 2/1891 Martha 7/1895 I have been unable to find James in a Georgia Census. I have found an Elizabeth BEST of the proper age in the 1870 Gilmer Co. Ga census but cannot be sure if it is the right one. If anyone can shed some light of these QUEENs, I would bwe immensely grateful. p.s. I will be in the North Georgia area wednesday-sunday (6/7-6/11) and would love to get together with any fellow QUEEN researchers in the area if possible. If anyone would like to set up a meeting or has lookup requests please feel free to e-mail me at safetydude@mindspring.com
