    3. Hi all, I've been toooooo busy lately to reply or join in on the resent research exchanges. But, if y'all find any answers to the John Queen & Mary Campbell situation, it would be great. Mandy and I believe John and Mary are the parents of our James Campbell Queen, b. May 7, 1819 in Tennessee and died January 26,1897 in Wayne Co., TN. We are certain of the Campbell middle name for James, as we have some other researchers on this line, whose older ancestors still remember him, as well as my Aunt Marion Queen, who also heard stories of her great grandpa, James Campbell. John Queen and Mary Campbell were married on April 30,1816 in Maury Co., TN. From somewhere, (I think one of my distant cousins hired a genealogist) I got the info that Thomas J. Campbell was Mary's father and she was from KY., but that is all speculation. We have gone round and round with this John Queen, trying to figure out who he belongs to. We originally thought he was the son of Henson. But it seems, there are several Johns all born in the same time frame, so it has been difficult to assign him to any particular family. Finding him in the census has also been near impossible. I thought he was the John from Franklin Co., but if he was, he would have had to have been married before Mary Campbell. Well, anyway, if any of you make any headway on this family I would love to have the info passed on to me. I've got alot of stuff to catch up on, but I am reading the post's and savoring all the info. Would love to hear arguments for or against this lineage. Stephen was in Macon County NC 1840 with one son under age 5 > ........................................................ > iWon.com http://www.iwon.com why wouldn't you? > ........................................................ > > > ==== QUEEN Mailing List ==== > To unsubscribe from Queen-L: > Send an email to Queen-L-request@rootsweb.com with the word unsubscribe > in the body of the letter. Same for D list. Just substitute the D for the L.
