Hi Group, Ran across the following item today while looking for something entirely different! Hope anyone recognizing this couple, and can furnish additional info, my sincere thanks: "North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal, Vol. VIII, No. 3, August 1982, page 173." 'Queen, Miss Cena, daughter of John Queen, to Alston Brackett, August 31, 1830, on Cove Creek, Burke County (N.C. Spectator, September 17, 1830).' Can't seem to find Cove Creek, but then again, my maps aren't that great. This could be in McDowell County (today's McDowell) based on some of the other locations for Queens in this area. Question: Could this be a sister to Henson who married Zelpha Glass on Sept. 27, 1831 in Burke Co.? My apologies if this is common knowledge and I haven't kept up with the times! Regards, Jerry
