(of course I managed to fit in some genealogy) Anyway, I visited the Polk County, Tennessee Historical Society located In Benton and found these QUEENS: Elizabeth QUEEN b. Feb 1852 in GA d. Aug 12 1941 in Epworth, GA. Wife of James Wade QUEEN. Buried in Mobile Baptist Church Cemetery, Fannin County, GA. This information has both excited and perplexed me. I can't help but speculate if this Elizabeth is the Elizabeth BEST who married my g-g-grandfather James W QUEEN. The birthdate is correct and one of my Elizabeth's sons and grandsons are buried in Mobile Cemetery. The conflict is the notation "Wife of James Wade Queen". I have been searching with the understanding that Elizabeth BEST married James WILLIAM Queen. Therefore, if anyone has information regarding James Wade QUEEN, please respond so I can clear my muddled noggin.
