Regarding Reiley's post of marriage bond of Margaret Queen (dau. of John Queen) to Jessey W. Shearer on 10-26-1833: Listed in 1835 Poll Books of Macon County were: John Queen in Culliwhee Election Precinct. Jesse W. Shearer (listed in second election as Jesse Sherrer) Franklin Precinct. James Shearer listed in Deep Creek Precinct West Truit also of Franklin Precinct. (could not find an Isaac Truitt in Macon Co.) Regarding bond of Mary Queen (dau of Samuel Queen) to William B. Morgan on 2-3-1833: William Morgan (2 of 'em) listed in Franklin Precinct (but no William B.) Ruds Morgan listed in Fairfield Precinct A Wm B. Morgan is listed on pg 157 of 1840 Macon census and HH703 on the 1860 Macon. Problem is, wife is listed as Ellen....wonder if Mary Ellen? I have a particular interest in both these marriages....Samuel Queen probably the pa of my Alfred of 1810 and a John and Joseph Queen in Culliwhee area in 1835. Gene
