The last I recall of discussions on this list a year or so ago, perhaps concluded that this may have been the trail of this John: 1850-1860 presume that he died. 1850 Macon Co., NC census at age 76, born in Montgomery Co., currently living in Macon with son, John. 1840 Macon Co. NC census at age 60<70. Son, John, at age 24 in household. 1830 Burke Co., NC census at age 50<60 1820 Burke Co., NC census at age 45+ 1810 Rowan Co., NC census at age 26<45 1800 Rutherford Co., NC census at age 16<26 Also a note that a John Queen married a Mary "Polly" Campbell on 4-30-1816 in Maury Co., TN. She the daughter of Thomas J. Campbell. An obvious question is was this the same John...moved from Rowan after 1810 to TN then back to Burke by 1820? Can anyone confirm (source) this marriage info...or add to/correct any of the above data? Thanks. Gene
