(b abt.1680-d.1739) << Gee, I thought that the list would come alive over this one. After searching the searching the QUEEN-L Archives I was amazed to find no information on Dr. William Queen. From some serious surfing, the following was pieced together. Who was Dr William Queen? "Mr. J.C. Thompson" is John Cratin Thompson, son of Henry Bradford Thompson son Joseph Thompson (in GA by 1796, had eight children, all sent back to MD and Georgetown to be educated at Catholic schools). Henry Bradford Thompson married Louisa Sophia Cratin 26 October 1813 in Warren County, Georgia. John Cratin Thompson married Mary Ellen Queen 1851, Charles County Maryland in the Catholic Church. There were at least two children: 1. Mamie Thompson married Walter Alexander Edelen, Junior; both buried in the family lot in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Upper Marlboror, MD. 2. Henrietta Pauline Thompson baptized on 4/1854 by Rev. John P. Donelan, Dr. Queen & his Lady being sponsors." ............................................................................ ............................................................................ .......................................
