It seems to me that the two greatest opportunities are: 1. Obtain DNA samples from lineages of early Queens and Mac/McQueens in America who reported their place of birth as Scotland or Ireland. 2. Obtain DNA samples from Queens and Mac/McQueens currently living in Scotland or Ireland. Anyone visiting Scotland or Ireland may wish to make it a point to visit with a Queen or Mac/McQueen family to extend greetings and best wishes from Queens in America and invite them to join our project. We can fund the cost of the sample at no cost to them. What a fascinating trip it would be to travel Scotland in search of living Queens, visit with and photograph families, and bring back a bit of history of Queens in Scotland or Ireland. Wow! Perhaps if I live to retire, I'll make this my first major venture out into the wide wide world of Queens. Such a visit would provide chapter after chapter of material for "The Queen Family History".
