The more information you can give us--where your Chancey Poor was born, what the census says about him--the better we can help you. We do most of our correspondence on Queen-List, so it would help if you would go to Rootsweb and join the List. In the long run we would need to have more DNA evidence to place you in the family. Were you adopted, or your Chancey change his name? We have two groups of Queens that were in Arkansas [were you born there?] --one from Mississippi, the other came from Tennessee to Carroll County AR in 1840, then on to Texas in 1848.
