Nancy, I don't know about the Reunion, I'll ask Gene-- Hey, Gene! Do you have information on this Reunion? I'm just trying to take info from past Queen-L postings and figure out who the older Queen males are [pre-1850] so that we can put families together. I have begun a list of Queen men (and a few women), references to the Queen-L postings about them (and the members that do the postings). It makes a good reference since 99.79% of these men are probably not close relatives of our Texas Queen bunch [NC-TN-ARK-TX]. Not having much luck so far, but at least it gives me info to use to ask questions. Thanks for you info. Kathy, Jamison was born 5-57-1818 in Rutherford Co. son of James Queen and Sarah Jones. He died June 22, 1901 while living with his son William Grant Queen in Lincolnton, NC. and is buried at the First Methodist Church Cemetery in Lincolnton. His first wife Mary Jefffreys/Jeffries is buried at the Silver Creek Methodist Church in Burke Co. NC and his second wife (my greatgrandmother) Annie Whisenhunt/Griffin is buried in the Salem Methodist Church Cemetery in Burke Co. NC. I have a document where he signed his name Jamason. I have never seen anything with his name listed as James Jamison Queen. I wish I did. As for Annie Whisenhunt, I have documents with her named listed that way, but the immediate family called Annie Griffin and she listed as such on my grandfather death certificate. I wish I could solve that mystery. When is the reunion and where is it? Nancy -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
