Altha Queen will be the subject of a talk on 9 October 2005 by Margaret Amundson, CG. The occasion is the 150th anniversary of the deeding of the Methodist Cemetery to 12 men of Tenleytown. Altha Queen was buried in the Cemetery in 1907. She created two documents in her life time that will be used to trace her ancestry. In one she spoke of a reunion to held someday of her descendants. This was to a reporter of the Times in 1905. In 1907 was her obituary. We would like to have any of her descendants present at that time.
