Hi Gayle and all, Some very interesting information which you have presented, especially with the dates in Macon, the Joneses and the possible SC connection. Folks familiar with William Queen know of a Hall and Jones connection. Does this Hugh tie into any of "our" Queens? Does a bear have hair? I hope that interest can be aroused regarding this post. I could easily be persuaded to join a serious research effort regarding the Joneses, Halls, etc. The 1828-1835 period of Haywood and Macon Counties still hold many secrets concerning Queen families.
