    1. Further Follow-Up on Macon
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Pondering Carol's post and certain data a bit deeper forces me to share the following observations for consideration: James H. Queen who married Isabella Bryson was born in 1808. William Lewis Queen, Jr. had a son James Smith Queen (b. 1819) m. Kizzie Haynes (the Haynes name again). Thus, I rule out James H. as being son of William Lewis, Jr. for this reason if not for the other reasons previously stated. I have no record of William Lewis Queen, Sr. naming a son Samuel. Yet in the early 1830's there William Sr. was in Macon, his son Joseph in Macon, his daughter Catherine Jones (wife of Josiah) probably in Macon....and perhaps a stone's throw across the county line was Samuel Queen of 1776-1780 in Haywood and another Samuel Queen of 1759 (son of old William) in the Caney Fork area of Haywood. Nope, I'm not implying that Samuel of 1776-80 was a son of William Sr. I certainly don't believe that he was a son of old William (the two Samuel problem if nothing else). Could the Samuel of 1776-80 have been the son of Samuel of 1759? Questions, questions, but I don't have the answers. Gene
