    1. William Queen and (Mary) Ann Patton?
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Good Morning Everyone, Who can correctly sort out the mess I've made here? William Queen (b. ca 1781), son of Henson Queen of 1742, married Mary Ann Patton in Burke County, NC on 5-6-1824 and had a son, William Queen, Jr. born ca 1810 who married Mary Rayford???? A William Queen was listed as a son of Henson in Henson's will. But, this man would have been about 44 when he married Mary Ann Patton and his son, William, was born in 1810. This whole package doesn't look correct. How about William Queen (b. ca 1800-1803) and listed on 1830 Macon County census as age 20<30 w/wife age 20<30 and dau age 5<10?? If he had married in 1824 at age 21-24, had his first child about a year later, then Samuel Patton Queen on 12-16-1833, this would seem logical to me. The William Queen of Rabun Co. GA who fits this age range lists a wife as Mary Ann on the 1850 census and Anna on the 1860 census. In a land transaction in Rabun Co, Samuel Queen refers to "Anna Queen, daughter-in-law, wife of my son William Queen". What's the real story? Thanks, Gene
