    1. [QUEEN] Reuben Proctor
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Hi all, My notes, perhaps incorrect, reflect the possibility of the following: Henson Queen (b. ca 1742) had a daughter, Sarah Queen (b. ca 1771 in NC). Sarah married a Mr. Green and/or a Reuben Proctor?????????? Any information at all, with references, anyone has concerning a possible husband(s) and children of this Sarah would be greatly appreciated. We are considering the following: On 6-15-1820 a Sarah Queen married a Reuben Proctor in Rutherford Co., NC. Who wa this Sarah and this Rebuen? Proctor family researchers record the above marriage to their Reuben, but also have no information regarding descendants of Reuben and Sarah. But.....there are potential problems with an assumption that this Sarah was the dau of Henson Queen if Sarah was born ca 1771. The Proctor family's Reuben was born ca 1799. This would put Henson's Sarah as 28 years older than this Reuben. Reuben married at age 21, Sarah at age 49. Of course, if this is true it would explain why no descendants of Reuben and Sarah have been located. >From my perspective, another problem develops. It is believed that Reuben's parents and family are the ones listed on the 1810 and 1820 census of Madison County, KY and on the 1830 census of Calloway Co, MO where other members of the Proctor family lived. If the family was in KY between 1810-1820, why was their Reuben in Rutherford Co., NC in 1820? Perhaps he didn't want to go to MO, but returned to other family members in the Rutherford Co., NC area in his late teens??? Anyway, that's the scope of what we have and of our challenge. Please share any info concerning Henson's Sarah. Thanks, Gene
