(dau. of Benjamin Newton) .....son George Queen (b. ca 1797 d. ca 1877 Benton Co., MS) m. 1st "Mrs. Betsy Queen" (m. 11-8-1818 Where?) m. 2nd Nancy (?Elizabeth McCall?) Newton Goins (b. 1797 in NC d. 1854 Tippah Co., MS) (She widow of Daniel Goins?) m 3rd Caroline W. Griffin (m. 1-31-1859)(She was wife of Benjamin Griffin)...or, was Caroline the wife of George's son, George D. Queen (b. ca 1841)? .....son Charles Queen ............son Isaac Queen (b. ca 1825-30 maybe Cleveland Co., NC. m. Cleveland Co. d. 1901 McDowell Co., NC) m. Lucinda Towery .....son John Queen (b. ca 1805) Finally, how many children did this Meredith Queen have (George, Charles and John?, more? less? Are they documented or best guesses?). In a Feb 5 post, Reiley was quite explicit that a Meredith Queen m. Jane Newton. Reiley, can you be as explicit regarding year and state of birth of Meredith?
