I am searching for an Adam Queen (b. c1845) who married Jane Latimer/Samples (unsure as to last name as her mother was married several times)(b. c1850). They married in McMinn Co., TN. There were three issue, Alice Cordelia (b. c1884), Fred (b. c1890), and Clifford (b. ?). Jane died at a young age, so what happened to Adam? The issue were raised by sisters of Jane. Alice married James Franklin Burton and died 1968. They had a number of children who still live in the McMinn/Madison Counties in Tennessee. Alice lived near Athens, TN. Fred married (1) Minnie ?, and they had one daughter, Mae. He then married (2) Susie Hartley, and they had three children. Names unknown, but I have heard they live in northernFlorida. Clifford married Malinda ? and they lived in the Sweetwater, TN area. He is buried in Christianburg Cem. there. There was a GenForum posting by a Jerry Hamilton, who was searching for an Adam Queen who lived in the right vicinity, and would have been about the right age, but when I tried to contact him, his e-mail address was no longer correct. So, Jerry Hamilton, if you subscribe to this service, please contact me. Perhaps, together, we can find our Adam Queen. If anyone out there has an ADAM QUEEN in your database, I'd be most appreciative to hear from you. MaryBeth Penney --------------E2ABEE788F8AEA4DA92937E4--
