Okay - Here goes nothing . With all the activity stirred up in the family which is great I am going to see if someone has any news on this one. It has been my hang-up for over twenty years. Here is hoping. Maraday (meredith) Queen and Sarah Lavinia Summey's oldest daughter was Francis Adeline (bn. dec 26 1844 in North Carolina.) On July 25 1861 she married Thomas Jones in Tippah County, Mississippi. Bond for marriage was put up by THomas Jones and John Jones. My questions are as follows. Does anyone know the genealogy of the Jones family. I know nothing Why did the Queens move to Mississippi. I do know that Maraday was President of the BOard of supervisors there but do not know why they left Carolina. ALso, anyone know anyhting about Sarah Lavinia Summeys geneology. Thanks.
