    3. Hi all, In a previous msg, I stated that I wouldn't post this so soon after the Dec 16 post; but in response to a few inquiries to me, I am posting again. I do not have a web site and I do not have the data in FTM type database. My data is in wordprocessor files by head of family. My research practices include: a) collecting and documenting data concerning the Alfred Queen of 1810 family, b) collecting data regarding other Queens to keep the data somewhat organized and separated from Alfred's family....but constantly looking for links from others to "my" Alfred, c) searching for siblings and ancestors of Alfred. Whenever I read a post to this list, I generally delete it immediately if it's just a name or two with no reasonable hope of tying the name in with other Queens. If the post contains a number of names, dates, locations, etc. then I can usually tell at a glance when that researcher is working a line which ties in with my research. I respond to the researcher with appropriate data. The researcher wins with new data and I win with another link or the name of another researcher working my line. So, if anyone posts data to the list which contains the names of 3, 4 or more Queens born after 1850, I can fairly quickly determine if that line descends from Alfred of 1810....and I will respond. The "old" subscribers to this list have been most generous in "flooding" this list with data and in working to help each other. Speaking only for myself, and in all kindness, I believe that it is the responsibility of "new" subscribers to provide significant data which will allow one to quickly determine if we have a link to your Queens. Hope the following data will help someone link to Alfred of 1810. If you find a link, then there's more data supporting this outline, so please get back with me if you wish: Researching following and will share info with descendants of this line: Probable dad of Samuel listed below: Joseph Queen (b. ca 1740-50)..appears on Haywood Co, NC census of 1830.
