I too am seeking some knowledge about ancestors in Loudoun County, Virginia. The information I have is that Chloe Kerrick was married to John Queen II who was a Rev. Our information states that they were married in Loudoun County, VA in 1782. Our information lists Kerrick as Karrick. It appears that John Queen II served in the military in Loudoun County, VA February, 1778. He made a will in Romney Ohio on 9/24/1832. We believe that they had the following children: Queen, Precious Ann, born 12/31/1785;married to Henry Powell in 1812 [subsequently killed in the War of 1812] and then she married his brother James Robert Powell in 1817. Queen, Mary Constance born 7/28/1788, subsequently married to Matthew Brown in Hampshire County, VA on 4/4/1811 Queen, Absalom in Loudoun County, VA in 1791 who died in Lincoln County, W.Va in 6/1850. Queen, Walter born in 1795 A child born in 1797, name unknown Queen, Stephen born 3/1/1800 marrried Mary Moreland 2/8/1827 and died in 1870 Queen, John III born 1805 Queen, Martha born 1809 Queen, Sarah born 1813 Our information states that John Queen II's father emigrated from Donegal County Ireland where he was born in Ireland around 1725. I do not have a birthdate for Chloe Kerrick but it appears that John Queen II was born in 1755. I am not sure that the surname Queen is completely correct as I am having trouble tracking that name down. There are a lot of Quin's both in the Donegal County records and in Virginia so am trying to determine if it was changed after they arrived in Virginia or before they emigrated to Ohio. For some reason Chloe Kerrick Queen intrigues me and I want to know more. I had no idea they left Loudoun for Ohio. I have seen information that John Queen was the son of John Queen Sr and Mary Butler and that John Queen Sr was the son of Timothy MacQueen and Jane Henson. According to Ancestry.com, the parents of Chloe were Walter Kerrick and Mary Barnes. Don't know if any of this is accurate. I am a descendant of John & Chloe's son Absalom.
