Hi all, The * (meaning possible or probable link) is gone from my file regarding the subject. Based upon adequate (for me) circumstantial evidence, I have concluded beyond any reasonable doubt that James H. Queen of 1808 (who married Isabella Bryson) and Alfred Queen of 1810 (who married Mary Ann and lived in Cocke Co., TN and Haywood/Jackson Co., NC) were brothers. Further, I have concluded beyond any reasonable doubt (for me) that Samuel Queen (b. ca 1776-1780) of the 1820/30 Haywood Co., NC census was their father. The search continues for other tidbits of evidence concerning this relationship; but the greater priority now for me is the identify of Samuel's other children (James and Alfred's brothers and sisters) and the location of Samuel after the 1830 Haywood census. If anyone really wishes a summary of the circumstantial evidence (after I put it in final form), please advise and I'll respond direct to you rather than clutter this list with my interpretation of the data.
