I remember figuring this out before. 1830 Census Haywood Co. NC M 30-90 Wm. Lewis Queen, Sr. F 70-80 ? (Could be possible that this was Ursula JONES Queen's mother, Sarah COLLEY Jones. John Jones, her father died ca 1825) M-30-40 Joseph H. Queen b. ca 1794 F 30-40 Ursula JONES Queen b., ca 1794 F 10-15 Olive Vine Queen (b. ca 1819) M 5-10 Wm. Creighton Queen (b. ca 1821) F 5-10 Maybe Polly? I don't have a birth year for her or marriage M 5 Joe A. Queen b. ca 1828 M 5 Edward D. Queen b. ca ? Don't have a date on him either. That covers everyone that I have in my file except Artie E. Queen (female) b. ca 1837 Also this list came from something my grgrandmother recorded as being the family of Joseph H. Queen. AND she knew because in 1880, Joseph H. was living with her family........she, Daniel Colley and Olive Vine QUEEN Colley in DeKalb Co. GA. She was Susan Catherine Colley b. 1860 d. 1960. BTW, in her notes, she recorded Wm. Creighton Queen as "Creighton Queen". That's the ONLY place I've seen the name Creighton. In 1870 Jospeh and Ursula were living with Wm. C. Queen family in Habersham Co. GA.........so he MUST be Creighton. Wish someone else would have the Creighton surname in their family. Still wonder where it came from!
