    1. [QUEEN] Joseph & Samuel
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Hi all, Couldn't help but notice Jimmy Redmond's post concerning Joseph B. Queen of GA who was apparently born prior to 1834. Jimmy, do you have the name of Joseph's dad? Here's my line of thinking concerning two Haywood County Queens of 1820/30: If Joseph (b. ca 1740) was the pa of Samuel (b. ca 1776), then Samuel probably had a brother, Joseph. Where is he? If Samuel (b. ca 1776) was the pa of Alfred of 1810 and James H. of 1808, then he likely named one of his other sons Samuel and one Joseph. Where are they? Alfred had sons Joseph, Samuel, James Henry, John B and others. James H. had sons Samuel and John. Possible that Samuel Queen of 1776 or some of the children/siblings went to Ga or elsewhere about 1839-1840 when Alfred went to TN. Also, as I understand, 1838 was the year of the Cherokee Indian removal from the NC mountains. Did that somehow play into some movement of Queens? Gene
