While looking for my great great grandmother, Catherine Queen, I came upon this bit of information on the World Connect Project. There was a Catherine Queen, born 19 Jul. 1805, E. Liverpool, OH. Father's name, Jonah Queen - Mother Sarah Catherine March. I went all the way back in the family line and it seems that her great, great uncles and cousins were in the line of "Old" William Queen. Her family were originally from Loudoun Co., VA., but moved to Liverpool, OH. There were seven children, six were born in Virginia, and Catherine, the youngest, was born in OH. I believe this Catherine is the Catherine who came to Rutherford, NC in 1829 and made bastardy charges against Henson Johnston, and 1831 made basterdy charges against Daniel Hicks. Also, she shows up in Lincoln, NC, 1845 with sons William, Berry and George, Students in Dist. 36, and in the 1850 Lincoln County, NC Fed. Census. She never married, but had several children. If anyone has any further information on this, please let me know. Anita Payne chcpt@mindspring.com
