Mt Zion, aka The Glade cemetery is located in the Dooley District of Union County at Rt 325 and Loving Road. So this would definitely be the one Harry was talking about. If Stephen and Sarah are buried here, it is without a readable stone. Was all over this one with my Dad one year and didn't find them - I would have remembered that one since I've been looking so long. ----- Original Message ----- From: "RQueen" <rqueen1@kc.rr.com> To: "RQueen" <rqueen1@kc.rr.com>; "RITAB" <arbyone29@cox.net>; "'QResearchers'" <QUEEN@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, January 12, 2007 1:10 AM Subject: Re: [QUEEN] Georgia or NC Cemetery? > The loving road is in the NE corner of GA, almost directly below the > Tenn/NC > border. between highway76 and 129. > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "RQueen" <rqueen1@kc.rr.com> > To: "RITAB" <arbyone29@cox.net>; "'QResearchers'" <QUEEN@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2007 11:54 PM > Subject: Re: [QUEEN] Georgia or NC Cemetery? > > >> Found this by using my search engine "webferret". >> http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/4the3sratledges/cogvoylesjo.html >> ..Mt Zion Church Cem, Glade near Notla Dam, Union CO, GA >> >> ----- Original Message ----- >> From: "RITAB" <arbyone29@cox.net> >> To: "'QResearchers'" <QUEEN@rootsweb.com> >> Sent: Thursday, January 11, 2007 7:13 PM >> Subject: [QUEEN] Georgia or NC Cemetery? >> >> >>> In 1998 I received an email from Harry Hughes, descendant of Elmira >>> Queen >>> b >>> 1844 GA or NC, married 1861 to John Harrison Hughes b 1842 Polk Co TN. >>> In >>> the email, Harry referenced a burial site for Stephen and Sallie Queen >>> and >>> described the cemetery location as "just across the road from the Notla >>> Dam >>> end of Lovin Road."
