Okay, now we need Rita to meditate deeply and recall all she learned in the 1980's from Elda and Beulah and the relationship, visits, travel, rumor, etc. relating to her Hinsey Jonas Queen. How do we properly link the Stephen Queen lineage to the Hence Queen lineage? Appears that Stephen probably daughtered out, thus DNA unlikely; but back up the line we have Stephen living a few census "houses" from old William Queen over there in Macon County. We may well have DNA from William's lineage. We have DNA thru Hence lineage. Do we have a 3 way connect here, some with DNA and some with memories? Gene

Just as a start (since you had some moves to OH.) my (Charles Queen group) family moved to Newark,Ohio in 1954/55. I know there were at least four other families of Queens living there from mid 60s to late 80s. I don't believe any of the others were Charles Queen groups because we never socialized. I do know the group located in the Galion, OH. area (farm and run a produce stand there) claim to be from the Charles group and the Queen or MacQueen out of Toledo OH. claim to be from Canada. They run a pretty good sized orchard and produce market there. When I was working my first job as a stock boy 15, my boss bought the building next door. It turned out to be a book store and some things were left; one was a bound edition (can't remember what they call the books) from 1963 of the towns population names addresses and occupations and phone #s. I still have that book somewhere and will look for info to give that may help you. I also recall Sterling Queen of Terra Alta, WV. (as a side note) mentioning stopping at a small Queen's grocery in southeast OH. (maybe Marietta, OH) in the 60/70s and when asking for the owner, a black man answered and after introductions; the owner said his ancestors had been Queen slaves and when the were freed they took the name of the family who treated them well.
