His father was Thomas Patton, born April 18, 1806. He married Rebecca Patterson. Thomas' father was John Patton, born November 17, 1767. He was married to Mary Thompson. Around 1807, John Patton moved his family from North Carolina to Tennessee. They ended up settling around Wilson County, TN. Among those traveling with him are thought to be 2 of his nephews, David and Robert Patton. Most of this comes from the book John Patton and his Descendents, and John and Mary is as far back as the book goes. Kathy --------------46448017EA90FA4BAE144A8F--
