If...I understand correctly: 1. Reiley's George Queen (Quin) married Nancy Newton Goins (widow of Daniel Goins). 2. A Charles Queen married a Patsy Goins. Carol suggests that Patsy is a nickname for "Martha". A Martha someone married Charles Queen of the 1850 Cleveland County census. Using only that census, one would calculate Isaac Queen's year of birth as 1829. Thus, we would have a Charles Queen and Patsy Goins with a son, Isaac, born in 1829. However, later census reports for this Charles and Martha suggest a different birth year for this Isaac. The 1900 census reports a birth month and year of 11-1823 for this Isaac (spelled Isack or similar on the census). The 1823 seems to fit with the required(?) age of 21 for Isaac to have signed the petition in about 1844-45 which Reiley mentions. Therefore, is this the same Charles, Martha (Patsy) and Isaac...simply with confusion regarding Isaac's birth year? I'm still interested in learning where the name "Patsy Goins" came from. Has someone found a record of marriage of a Charles Queen and Patsy Goins? Anything with a Charles and Patsy? I'd appreciate info regarding the source, the reference. Please! Now, the obvious question; anyone know of a relationship between Daniel Goins and Patsy (Martha?) Goins? Thanks, Gene
