Hi Diane Carney and all, No apology needed for this old fellow. I VERY much appreciate the info you post to this list. I descend from an Alfred Queen (b. 1809/1810) of Haywood County, NC. I believe that his dad was Samuel Queen (b. ca 1776) who spent some time in Haywood in the 1820's and 1830's, if not earlier, and that Alfred's brother was James H. Queen of 1808 who married Isabella. I'm just chasing other Queens around the mountains of NC, TN and GA to see if I can find a gg Uncle or Aunt who will claim me.
