Court of Ordinary Minutes Book 1891-1903; pg 203] GEORGIA UNION COUNTY To J. W. Meeks, Ordinary of said county. The undersigned commissioners appointed to inquire into the mental condition of Wylie Queen report that in pursuance of instructions contained in the commission to them directed for that purpose on the 3rd day of June 1895 They examined by inspection said Wylie Queen and heard and examined witnesses on oath as to his mental condition. After said inspection and examination of witnesses, the undersigned are satisfied that said Wylie Queen is insane & so report to your Honor. A. D. McCrary, F.J. Erwin, M.D., John England, J. D. Jones, E. Bowling, Jesse Satterfield, S.Y. Jarrett, J. B. Shope, W.E. Candler (Caudler?), J. Downs, T.C. Hughes, A.B. Rogers Upon the hearing of the facts in this case it is adjudged that Wylie Queen of said county is a pauper Lunatic & that he be committed to the Lunatic Asylum at Milledgeville, Ga & it further appearing that said Wylie Queen should not be left at large it is further ordered that he be confined in the common jail of said county till he can be removed to said Asylum.
