    1. [QUEEN] Isaac Queen of ca 1806-09
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Hi all, Have finally been able to get back to the Queens a bit and am wondering: 1) Has anyone received any documentation or explanation from Mrs. Deward Queen or Morris Queen which supports a link of the subject Isaac Queen to George or Betsey Queen? 2. Is there a concensus that the Moses J. Queen of 1850 Union Co., GA census, HH342 was NOT the s/o Isaac Queen as the expanded posting of the census indicates....but, rather he was the son of James C. Queen? 3. Since the 1840 Washington Co., TN census lists 2 males, age <5, in the household of Isaac and the 1850 Union Co., GA census lists one (George) of that age plus 10, I assume that the second male died between 1840-1850. Any agreement or disagreement? 4. Rutherford County marriages indicate "Mariday" Queen was bondsman for the marriage of George Queen to Betsey Queen in 1818. Pg 503 of the 1830 Rutherford census lists George Quin, Merody Quin, James Quin, Peggy Quin, Thomas Bracket, ??? Towry, Jesse Ledford, John Towry and George Towry (not in this order). Also note from Reiley's webpage that Lincoln Co. reflects in 1840 a George Quinn, James Qunn and others listed as Quin. Ages of persons in household of George Quin of 1830 Rutherford = 12111 and 200101. Merody Quin is apparently aged 50<60. Just wondering if Reiley's George Quinn of Lincoln could be the George Quin of Rutherford...and if his Betsey could have been as much as 10 yr older than George. In any event, if Betsey was born in 1790; she could have had a child...Isaac...born ca 1810. I suppose all this has been beaten to death; but, just in case... Gene
