    1. Hugh Queen 1832 Macon/1840 Habersham
    2. O Eugene Queen
    3. Reference Gayle's post: 12-25-1832 Macon Co, NC John Hall pays $8.20 regarding land on Which John Jones & Josiah Jones now live, adj. line of Robert Hall & land on which Hugh Queen now lives. Note: Josiah Jones, apparently the one who married Catherine Queen, was on 1830 Macon census next to James Queen, probable son of Samuel of 1776-1780. Note: 1830 Haywood census, Joseph Queen listed next to same Samuel. Note: 1840 Habersham Co., Ga census lists Joseph Queen (age 40<50) on pg 137 and a Hugh Queen (age 20<30) two names later on same page: Hugh Queen, age 20<30 Female, age 20<30 Male, age <5 (2 of 'em) Female, age <5 So, was this Hugh Queen in 1840 Ga. the same Hugh in 1832 Macon? Did Joseph have a son, Hugh? My notes do not reflect that either identified son of William Lewis Queen, Sr. had a child named Hugh. For your pondering. Gene
