Long may the Confederate Battle Flag wave in the cemeteries and over the graves of our ancestors who fought and died in the war for our Confederate nation. Long may whatever flag they choose fly over the cemeteries and graves of Queens who fought for the Union side in the War Between the States. Long may the U.S. Flag fly over my nation and state's capitol buildings, since we are again one nation. No, this list is not about civil wars, states rights/wrongs, republicans/democrats. It's about our people and the search for our past. I take no offense that folks with the name Queen fought on both sides of the terrible conflict. I take no offense that many people honor the dead by flying their battle flag over battlefields and cemeteries. Having visited the shores of Normandy and gazed upon the rows of graves of dead Americans, the country of France can kiss my ... if they take offense to the fact that our nation's flag flies over those sacred graves.
