    3. The history of my GG Grandfather Jameson Queen is interesting. I'm attaching his family record. Although some records show his first wifes name to be Jones, family records show her name to be Jeffrey's. His second wife Annie is shown in the census to be an occupant of his house, family history indicates that Mary Jeffrey's was ill for several years before she died and I assume that Annie was brought in to tend to the family along with Mary Queen. The controversy is over the ancestry of Annie. Half of the family is convinced that her proper name was Annie Griffin (half breed Cherokee) and the rest deny that as a vicious 160 year old rumor. Her name in the census records is listed as Whisenhunt, a Swiss name and I guess the truth is somewhere in between. I show one additional child to the union of Jameson and Mary; Eugene Queen, dob unknown. No This is not a joke, we all suspected that Gene was a bit long in the tooth, but would have guessed ? Glad to see that Reiley, Gene and Mandy are still stirring the pot.
