Hi all, In my post which was presented to settle the question concerning the fact that Isabella Bryson married James H. Queen, I failed to establish the name Bryson in an absolutely convincing way to Isabella, wife of James Queen. I hope to do so now by posting one additional piece of evidence: Book A, Pg 65 Jackson County Courthouse In the matter of the probate of the last will & testament of Andrew Bryson, deceased. Sarah Bryson applying to the said Superior court...... ...said Bryson's home place lying in said county on the waters of Cullowhee Creek adjoining the land of said Sarah Bryson.... ...that she is the sole devisee(?) of said testator & that his heirs at law are his brothers & sisters & their legal representation to wit: William H. Bryson, Robert Bryson, Daniel Bryson, Henderson Bryson, Mrs Rebecca Allison, Mrs. Isabella Queen....... ....Sworn and subscribed the 15th day of April 1884 .................... My week of vacation has ended, so my passion for family history must take a back seat to the requirement of working (sob) to put beans on the table. Gene
