Hi Jean, I'm sorry, but it will probably take more research before your question is answered, if it ever will be. That's the challenge/thrill/disappointment of research. But, here is what we seem to know just from your post (any more pertinent data will be helpful): Francis Queen m. Margaret ....dau Mary Queen m. Samuel Correll (both buried in Sullivan Co, IN) ..........dau ?????? Correll m. ??????? and moved to IN with her parents. Francis Queen died ______and left Will which named wife and children____???? His Will was dated________, probated in _________county on ________. Francis' wife, Margaret, left Will in Iredell Co., NC; Book 2 pg 89; probated 1832. In that Will, Margaret mentions some property in TN with James McBroom. Therefore, we must assume that Margaret Queen, and probably Francis, spent some time in TN before 1832. Further, we assume a fairly close relationship or friendship with a man named James McBroom. If I had access to statewide TN census indices, I would search for James McBroom, Francis Queen, Samuel Correll, Quillen Williams Sear, Evan Ellis and John Hendren. My hope would be that if I found one of these names, then I may be in the right county. I would then narrow my research to that county for any tidbit of info I could find relating to either. I would also carefully check the Wills of Francis and Margaret, including looking for a possible (s) on son-in-law....sons-in-law or son-in-laws as executors. I enjoy speculation, then seeking to prove or disprove it. Thus, I would speculate that Margaret had at least three daughters, perhaps one or more from a previous marriage: one married Samuel Correll, one married Quillen Williams Sear and one married James McBroom. I would also consider the possibility that either Sear or McBroom were her brothers. Now, this is only speculation....and I further speculate that part or all of this speculation is incorrect. There is no marriage bond listed in Haywood County, NC (per Wooley) for either of the men mentioned above. What about Iredell Co., NC and other counties which may hold clues? Those of us involved in the Tennessee Project will certainly want to see what, if anything, we can find there concerning a James McBroom or Francis Queen/Quin/Quene, etc. prior to 1832. That's my 2 cents worth. Thanks very much for your post....and for any additional info which may help pinpoint people, places and dates. Gene
