Gene, Now this John Watt Houpt is my ancestor. His wife, Margaret Correll was born in NC. They married in Wilkes Co. NC. They moved to IND around 1834. According to my records I believe that Margaret died in Greysville - Sullivan Co. IND. around 1856. John Watt Houpt went on to Rooks Co. Kansas where he supposedly died.
