Written by raven306@infi.net Sometimes I wish the Queen family had never heard of the name William. William Allen Queen, Jr. (1835-1915) is buried in Rutherford County, NC. His death certificate lists parents as William Allin Queen and Myrum Wilkerson.  (information provided to me by "tamara" through Queen-L)  The 1860 Rutherford County census (courtesy of Bill Floyd's web site) shows Queen W. A. age 55 and Mira age 54.  It doesn't seem likely that either of these W. A. Queens would have been the one you are looking for.  All I can say is good luck. --Phil Minch--
