(RK stated only other Queen mentioned at this time was John Queen in 1771, see that John and date) 1764 Mar 14 sold all 3 lots in Salisbury (Rowan Co) to Robert Pearis. 1781 Mar 14 ARW served 48 days fr Jan 26 to Mar 11-1781 in Light Horse Service under Co. Francis Lock. (Later in a Roster of Soldiers fr NC serving in ARW lists Francis Queen along with Thomas and Wm. L. Queen) 1787 Feb 3 Iredell pur. 200 acres on Main Rocky Creek fr Robt. King 1790 Iredell census 1m+16, 3m-16, 4f, 0 sl 1790 Iredell pur. 400 acres on both sides of main Rocky Creek fr John King, adjoining Robt King and Wm. Hughes (mq, could this be the naming of Jos' son Hughs? Close neighbor? relative? just wondering?) 1794 Jun 7 Iredell deed to Francis 100 (150?) acres on N side of tract he pur fr John King. 1797 Dec Iredell Fr sold to James Queen 100 acres at head of Rocky Branch & state granted Francis land on branches of Rocky Creek adjacent to his upper tract on Wilkes Co line on Ridge Mtn. 1800 Iredell cen. 01001-10001 (age 45+) No other Queen's Iredell 1800 Apr 20 Francis sold to Geo. Gordon 150 acres head branches Rocky Creek beg. at Wilkes being land granted to James Purviance in 1793 and by deed to Queen. 1803 Iredell Will filed. Will written 3-24-1799 and filed in 1803.
