    3. Hi all, I have had, and still do have, a great deal on my plate, so I apologize for throwing in only tidbits, but you never know... According to my cousin, Connie Barnes Southard, her QUEEN documentation goes back to the 1700's, with their migration to NC from the Columbia, SC area. I eventually (gasp!) intend to share what I have with her in hopes of discovering any apparent discrepancies and potential leads. Until then, perhaps kind soul out there can shed light on this as well. I guess my question at this time would be is/was there a Burke County anywhere near the Columbia, SC area? John W. QUEEN, Jr. --> Sim M. QUEEN --> Martha Ella QUEEN Arvey --> Lois Arvey Phillips --> Gayle Phillips Cantrell John W. QUEEN, Jr. --> Sim M. QUEEN --> Mary Jane QUEEN Burnett --> Bana Burnett Barnes --> Connie Barnes Southard Very best regards, Gayle Cantrell gpcantrell@home.com P.S. Mandy, was Martha 38 or 28 on the 1850 census? Thanks!
